Welcome Message from Chairman

Dear fellow SAFRA Volunteers,

I hope you are coping well during this difficult period.

It is at times like this when face to face interactions are limited but very much necessary, that we will need to enhance our communication with our volunteers. Hence, we are launching a quarterly SAFRA Volunteers Newsletter, a platform for our valued volunteers to stay in touch with each other as well as being updated with SAFRA happenings.

Besides a recap of our immediate past event(s) and information on upcoming activities for volunteers, a segment in the newsletter "Marketplace", is to include legitimate business offerings or great deals by Volunteers for Volunteers. We hope volunteers could tap on this avenue to promote their own products as well as offer unique discounts and exclusive offerings for our volunteers.

Meanwhile, if you would like to contribute any content to this newsletter, please write to vmc@safra.sg.

Thank you for the significant contribution in devoting your time and energy to the overall benefits of SAFRA members and NSmen. Till we meet again, Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!

SAFRA Volunteers' We Grow Together Workshop

Sat, 23 May 2020

Volunteers attended our very first online interactive workshop focusing on the concept of urban farming – where families picked up techniques of growing their own indoor urban farm. Participants were introduced to the different kinds of seeds and plants that can grow in our local climate as well. The fruitful discussion during the Question and Answer segment allowed more insights and open communication. Look out for more online interactive workshops coming your way!
